MISSING!

Hey everyone!
Things around 2SS have been pretty quiet lately. I'm sure the whole internet has noticed.
WELL! There is a good reason!

The Two Story Sketchbook headquarters is getting ready to participate in the 12th annual SOMERVILLE OPEN STUDIOS!

We are painting and drawing and photocopying and crafting and cleaning and arranging in order to welcome our adoring public into our respective stories.

2SS will return to its regularly scheduled posting (including a huge post of back-logged drawings we're saving up) once SOS is over. You WILL receive your promised 365 drawings.

Come see us May 1st and 2nd from Noon to Six each day to get a peak behind the scenes and to see what else we do besides pencil/pen sketchbook scribblings with a weekly theme!

Things We Love Thursday -- Marissa

I love miniature food!

It started when I had a dollhouse as a child, or maybe before, as I have a certain fondness for the Beatrix Potter story "A Tale of Two Bad Mice" and their bizarre dollhouse adventures. Here is fake food that really would fool a scrounging mouse:

These exquisite examples are made by an Etsy seller called Petit Plat. Aren't they great? I love the detail, and the fact that they are so ridiculously small (that tray below is less than 2 inches long). Amazing work!!
